BANGKOK, Thailand – 25 February 2020 – Ingo Schweder, CEO and founder of GOCO Hospitality, has been nominated as a finalist for Executive of the Year in FIT Summit‘s Fitness & Wellness Awards 2020.
The World Fitness & Wellness Summit (FIT Summit) will be held in Singapore from 3-6 August 2020, where APAC’s leading fitness and wellness brands and executives are recognised for their achievements and successes over the past 12 months.
Ingo Schweder, founder and CEO of GOCO Hospitality, Managing Director of Horwath HTL Health & Wellness, co-owner of Space Cycle & Space Yoga and owner of Glen Ivy Hot Springs, America’s largest hot springs destination, was chosen as a finalist for the ‘Executive of the Year’ award. The judging committee has begun voting, with the winners announced at the summit in August. Ingo Schweder also sits on the judging committee but will abstain from voting on the Executive of the Year award.
According to the Asia-Pacific Fitness & Wellness Awards, the Executive of the Year Award is presented to “any fitness, wellness hospitality or lifestyle executive who operates or works in Asia-Pacific Award based on; market leadership; recognised thought leadership reputation; successful company performance; positive shareholder ROI; future growth potential in APAC; promotion of new technology adoption, diversity and industry collaboration; and creation of industry leading partnerships.”
The other nominees for the Executive of the Year award include Benjaporn ‘Ben’ Karoonkornsakul, Founder and CEO of The Absolute Group, Sean Tan, Director of True Group and Simon Flint, CEO of Evolution Wellness.
