Following 30 years’ hospitality experience across four continents – with companies such as The Ritz-Carlton, Shangri-La, Oberoi, Rafael Hotels and Mandarin Oriental – Ingo Schweder was diagnosed with cancer.
His fight against the disease combined advanced western medical treatments with deeply researching and adopting holistic methods.
Witnessing the growing global interest in healthy lifestyles, along with an awareness of the need for a turnkey solution for tailor-made spas and wellness resorts, Ingo created GOCO Hospitality in 2008.
