Meet Özgür Cengiz, GOCO’s recently appointed Corporate General Manager, a true wellness hospitality professional as well as athlete and fitness professional, who has always been committed to well-being as much as reformulating luxury. He is today a Global Wellness Day ambassador in the Maldives, a member of the Wellness Tourism Associates, as well as a judging committee member of the World Spa & Wellness Awards.

In celebration of World Digital Detox Day this December 10th, Özgür shares his insights about today’s fast-paced, digitally hyperconnected world, as the need for a digital detox has emerged as a crucial concept for maintaining a healthy balance between our online and offline worlds. Özgür says, “The prevalence of smartphones, social media, and an ever-expanding array of digital platforms introduces challenges to our mental and physical well-being. He further highlights its benefits and provides tips for a successful Digital Detox and successfully stepping away from smartphones, tablets, computers, and other digital gadgets to reclaim a sense of mindfulness, presence, and balance.
