Position: Executive – Operations
Location: GOCO Offices, Bangkok, Thailand

Overview

The Executive – Operations is responsible for assisting the Operations Team in developing operational concepts and overseeing tasks across GOCO Hospitality’s consulting projects. This role includes active involvement in supporting both owned and managed properties. Duties encompass a range of responsibilities, such as pre-opening planning, property improvement initiatives, and training setups, all crucial for the financial success of properties within the GOCO Hospitality portfolio. The position expects close collaboration with other teams, ensuring that operations are executed efficiently and effectively. The Executive – Operations is expected to operate proficiently, contributing to the seamless transition from planning to implementation, playing a vital role in ensuring that all projects meet high standards, ensuring excellence in every aspect of property operations.

The Executive – Operation has a good understanding of the hospitality industry and is a passionate individual, who is a strong team player and keen to develop their knowledge of wellness hospitality and skills within the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational support and strategic planning for GOCO Hospitality’s owned and managed hotels, spas, and wellness facilities, ensuring optimal performance across all properties. This includes conducting operational performance reviews and developing targeted action plans for improvement.
  • Support the Operations Team in developing operational concepts for GOCO Hospitality’s consulting projects, while also assisting in market research, feasibility studies, design services, and marketing where needed
  • Assist in the execution of pre-opening assignments, including but not limited to pre-opening training, pre-opening budgeting, OS&E planning and preparation of manning guides to ensure the smooth opening of new properties.
  • Support the analysis of financial data, including property performance and monthly P&L reviews, to ensure GOCO Hospitality’s portfolio of properties meet business targets, while overseeing cost control, budget creation, and producing monthly review summaries for each property.
  • Collaborate with department heads across Marketing, Design, Technical Services, and Finance to ensure timely completion of projects and the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Understands operational objectives and can develop specific short- and long-term plans to achieve solutions to complete deadlines and project work in a timely and effective manner.
  • Gathers operating and industry data and research trends and assist in due diligence reports and analytical summaries for projects and client’s review.

Position Pre-Requisites: 

  • Degree in Hotel Hospitality, sports, leisure, finance or marketing sectors or the equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven working experience within the hospitality industry for an established company
  • Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office Software including Word, PowerPoint and others.
  • Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills in English, and understands appropriate grammar, spelling and punctuation rules.
  • Strong organizational and administration skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • A self-starter and solution oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize, perform multiple duties and track projects.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects, meet tight deadlines on short notice, and multi-task.
