The New Year may have only just started, but GOCO Hospitality’s Founder and CEO, Ingo Schweder, already has a packed schedule of speaking engagements at which he will be sharing his views and knowledge on all areas of the wellness hospitality industry.

First off, Ingo was recently one of the top speakers at the Thai Spa and Well-Being Summit 2018, organised by the Thai Spa Association. Ingo delivered a passionate speech on the importance of employee motivation and empowerment. Through greater employee motivation and empowerment, Ingo urged the attending spa owners, employees will think creatively and take the initiative in creating customer experiences that don’t merely satisfy customers, but in fact delight them, generating deep customer loyalty and repeat business.

With Bangkok named as the world’s most visited city for the second year in a row by the Mastercard Destination Cities Index and as one of the world’s great tourism gateways, the American Chamber of Commerce – Thailand and C9 Hotelworks organised the 7th Annual Thailand Travel Forum (TTF) on 22nd January on the topic of Megacity Bangkok – A Tourism and Hotel Futurescape (for more details, see here). There, Ingo contirubuted his insights to a special panel discussion on the topic of Bangkok’s brand as a tourist destination and how the new economy will influence public perceptions. The session is moderated by David Keen, CEO of hotel and travel branding agency QUO, and Ingo will be joined by Thomas Schmelter, Director of Operations for Thailand & Indochina at IHG, and Varangkana Artkarasatapon, Senior Vice President – Finance and New Business Development, at leading Thai property developer Sansiri.

Ingo then heads to Dubai on 5th February for the World Spa and Wellness Convention (for more details, see here) where he is the keynote speaker for the opening day of the conference. In line with the conference theme of “Change is Coming, Be Ready for Disruption” Ingo will be presenting to over 200 spa owners, directors and managers on the most important trends affecting the industry in 2018.

This is just the start to a busy schedule of speaking engagements for Ingo for 2018. Watch this space for more details on future sessions.
